This is a company that is in existence for over 50years and its purpose to provide our customers with intelligent, innovative Warehousing & Transport, distribution solutions, driven by service. The company is headquarters is located in Annacotty Business Park, Annacotty, Limerick however the company has multiple locations/depots across the IOI. STL work with a lot of multinationals across a number of different sectors.
We are currently recruiting for warehouse operators for their site in Borrisoleigh, Co Tipperary.
Purpose of the Role
This is a hands on role, ideal for a person who has previous experience in a busy warehouse, and driving Fork trucks (counter balance, reach, ppt )
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by STL Logistics.
- Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped.
- Identify safety hazards in the workplace.
- Ensure that all instructions from the warehouse supervisor are carried out accurately and efficiently.
- Checking and receiving deliveries accurately as per company SOPs.
- Safely move/stack materials throughout the warehouse.
- Loading and unloading of materials to and from the freight carriers.
- Operate a forklift, when required.
- Ensure that stock is accurately recorded.
- Conduct cycle counts as required.
- Ensure that the warehouse and yard is kept clean, tidy and the doors are kept closed when not in use.
Experience & Skills:
- 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
- Up to date Forklift License essential
- Experience in warehouse systems would be an advantage.
- Manual Handling Certificate would be an advantage.
